Madison develops tools and workflows to make the USGS data release process more efficient for researchers and data managers. She also promotes data management best practices through the USGS’s Community for Data Integration Data Management Working Group and the USGS Data Management Website. Madison is responsible for maintaining the USGS ScienceBase Data Release Tool and the Digital Object Identifier Tool.
