I recently joined the NOAA Coral Reef Information System (CoRIS) team as a Data Content Manager. I previously worked as Technical Coordinator for GRIIDC-- the data repository for the Gulf of Mexico Research Initiative (GoMRI) program at the Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.

I have 13 years of diverse experience in data management, research program management; marine science outreach and education; environmental consulting; and state environmental regulation.

I earned an interdisciplinary Master's degree in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation from Scripps Institution of Oceanography in San Diego, California. I did my Master's project on mangrove conservation in the Caribbean nation of Curaçao with a focus on policy, economics, and public outreach. I earned a Bachelor's in Conservation Geography and Marine Science from the University of Texas at Austin.
